Outdoor Series: Autumn by Teresa Wong Piano
I love playing outside! (would be even better if I could move my piano out) Of course I have to play my own songs, and here’s my favorite “Autumn” for you. Enjoy!

I hope you all are doing well and staying healthy. I know everyone’s doing their best and staying in and keeping others safe during such trying times. I know one day this will pass, and we will meet one another again, in person. I miss you all, my students and their parents! See you all… Continue reading Teresa Wong Piano: Imagine by John Lennon
This coronavirus situation has been devastating to all of us in so many ways around the world, especially for those of us who have a stay-at-home order to follow. It’s uncomfortable, stressful, depressing, anxious, boring, scary, and more. It’s also at times unusually calming, relaxing, comforting, loving, caring, connecting and then some. It’s definitely a… Continue reading Focus on yourself

I’m also surprised to find some students do really well (maybe even better?) through this channel. I guess young kids these days are… Continue reading Our Online Piano/Music Lessons!
I recently stumbled upon this composer’s piano quartet recording when I was searching for some “newer” compositions than those I already knew (like the classic Brahms, Schumann, Dvorak and Elgar). I really enjoy this piece and thought I would share with you all. In this times of chaos, we need something beautiful and calming to… Continue reading Music Recommendation
I started teaching when I was about 17. I taught at this little music store inside a municipal building in Hong Kong, in which you could also find wet market and little shops. It was not the most pleasant experience that I quit after a few months because the teaching condition was not so good:… Continue reading My piano teaching experience (I)
As the situation of coronavirus worsens, I understand everyone’s concern over their safety and health. As I noted all of my students in my studios, I will continue to conduct one-on-one piano lessons until I cannot, but some of the students can opt to take their lessons online instead to avoid human contacts as much… Continue reading Online Piano Lessons
