It has been a successful couple weeks of piano lessons conducted online. I have been updating our YouTube channel to help students practice – I know my students need my support more than ever during such trying times! 🎶🎹😊
A lot of students said they could or wanted to play this classic piano piece by Beethoven – “Für Elise”. Often, they mean playing that one part everyone knows about. Finally, someone as a piano beginner actually tried to learn the whole song, in quite a short time. I was pleasantly surprised. Great job, Martin!
Wonderful kid. Yuzuha can play three different versions of Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars. Here are two of them. I love seeing students in person, but for now, we might have to resort to online for a while. But nothing can keep us apart – music always connects!
In our piano beginner book one, we have a piano medley – which means students have to play through three songs consecutively without stopping. It’s a great milestone for them, and it’s also a great recital song for young piano beginner students! Andre is learning to play this song from an anime called “A Cruel Angel’s Thesis”. It’s a lot of fun and super catchy!
It’s always more fun to play together at the piano! Here I practice with Abby a piano duet called “When the saints go marching on”.
Recently Savana and I have been working on writing some piano music – here Savana plays one of her own composition “Summer”.
