I encourage students to arrange their own version of familiar tunes. In our piano beginner book 2, we teach students to play happy birthday song, learn about chords and make up their own versions with the chords.
“O Mio Babbino Caro” is a famous aria from Puccini’s “Madame Butterfly”. I love singing and playing this piece. Enjoy!

But in order to get more comfortable and be better at it, one must go up that stage over and over again, sometimes even they have performed rather poorly in their last act. It’s the same in life: you get back up again and again after you fall. That’s how you grow and become better and successful in something that matters.
From time to time I also play some piano arrangement of popular songs. Here is We’re the Champions by Queen. Enjoy!
