Many days have passed since the COVID lockdown. We’re still being cautious and staying inside and apart from one another. The need for compassion is greater than ever.

While I see most of my students online, I’ve been sending little gifts to some younger students by mail. Today I feel the need to connect more and reach out, not just the students, but also the parents, who are making sure their kids are learning even during this difficult time. So I leave a little gift outside – a beautiful flower, that hopefully would brighten up this parent’s day.

We’re all connected. We’re all in this together.
